FINE ART
A self taught artist, I grew up in the small town of Harrington, De. It was there, I attended church and school and developed my love for drawing and painting. Born in 1964, I've been drawing from the moment I could hold a pencil. Inspired by a grandmother and aunt that loved painting and encouraged by a mother that insisted I develop and use my God given talents. During my school years I had many interests, playing sax, piano, writing and singing along with drawing and painting anything from t-shirts to signs. After graduation I worked the next five years as a machine operator at a metal factory. It was there that I began entering local and regional art and music contests along with sending my
music to Nashville. I would drive annually to Nashville for the next few years in hopes of having some of my music published. I realized soon enough that most overnight successes are 10 years in the making and if you don't have perseverance, persistence and thick skin, the music business is not for you. It wasn't long after I became the father of three beautiful girls and began working as a delivery driver. The next 30 plus years were spent raising children and delivery, leaving little time to create and pursue my love of art. However, the art I was able to create during this three decade span has been displayed in our most exclusive galleries and shows along with being entered in numerous private collections. I was primarily a graphite, pen and ink artist, doing mostly stippled art. This form of art (which appears on this website) requires the artist to shape and shade the entire image through several consistencies of dots. Each piece can take literally hundreds of hours to create. I retired from delivery in 2019 and now reside in Greenwood, De with my wife Marianne. Now able to pursue my dreams and asperations of creating art for the public to enjoy has brought my life full circle. My art reflects my love for wildlife, still life and everything in between. But above all, my love for God and people is what I want to be remembered the most for.
For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable.
